Student Dos and Don’ts

Dos

  1. Attend the college campus on time.
  2. Be present in class on time.
  3. Attend college in the proper uniform (designated shoes, socks, belt, nameplate, ID card, etc. are also part of the uniform) and leave the college campus in an orderly manner at the end of the day.
  4. Greet all teachers.
  5. Carry the ID card and subject card signed by the class teacher, and do not stay on campus unnecessarily after classes.
  6. Stay in the library, common room, canteen, or playground during off-periods.
  7. Regularly participate in extracurricular activities.
  8. Participate in all types of examinations as determined by the authorities.
  9. Focus on studies and attend practical classes.
  10. Maintain polite behavior with all staff, including the gatekeeper.
  11. Participate in library activities, always carry the ID card, and adhere to discipline.
  12. Help maintain overall cleanliness of the campus.
  13. Comply with any orders given by the authorities and participate in all national events.
  14. Always come to college in clean and tidy attire.
  15. Show respect to senior students and treat junior students with kindness.   

Dont’s

  1. Being late to college, being absent from class, and not wearing the uniform properly.
  2. Cheating in exams, damaging institutional property.
  3. For boys, keeping long hair, having a shaved head, or coming to college without shaving when necessary.
  4. For girls, keeping hair open and using flashy or eye-catching clips or bands, dyeing hair, using cosmetic lenses to change eye color, wearing heavy jewelry, friendship bands, and applying henna on hands.
  5. Taking anything from the institution or classmates without permission. Tearing pages from library books or cutting out special sections from newspapers and magazines, writing indecent words on the classroom blackboard or whiteboard.
  6. Behaving inappropriately outside the classroom. Carrying Android phones, MP3/MP4 players, CD players, or any music-playing devices, hockey sticks, rackets, etc.
  7. Driving cars or motorcycles on campus or entering the campus riding them.
  8. Smoking and carrying or consuming other prohibited substances.
  9. Wearing the college uniform while roaming around markets, restaurants, or attending any outside events.
  10. Writing irrelevant or objectionable words on desks, whiteboards, walls, or bathrooms.
  11. Using large and music-enabled wristwatches.
  12. Wearing shoes without socks, shirts without vests, colorful vests with shirts, or wearing caps without reason.
  13. Using large, distorted fashion belts on the waist.
  14. Eating snacks, hanging out, or littering with food packets at shops outside the campus during off-periods.
  15. Leaving footmarks on the classroom or other walls.
  16. Behaving poorly with senior students and showing contempt or disdain towards junior students.
  17. Violating any regulations issued by the authorities.
  18. Threatening classmates or anyone else, and harassing female students.
  19. For boys, entering the girls’ common room or designated areas.
  20. Chatting in the library, loitering in the college corridors without reason.
  21. Entering the cantonment area without proper permission.
  22. Doing non-academic activities in the computer lab, using unauthorized CDs, pen drives, etc., without the computer teacher’s permission.
  23. A boy and a girl spending time or chatting together by the pond or under trees.
  24. Forming groups to rally, protest, or engage in politics.
